unchanged in terms of the qualities of robustness,
functionality and long operating life which made its
predecessors so successful. Where it differs from earlier
models, though, is in its radically innovative design, increased
engine performance and use of state-of-the-art technology.
Modern and functional, the new Irisbus Daily is also remarkable for
the exacting aesthetic demands that drove its design process. Its
outstanding formal beauty did not come about by chance, of course,
since this exceptional utility vehicle was designed by one of the
greatest industrial and automotive stylists of the 20th century,
Giorgetto Giugiaro. 
Now entirely redesigned, the ergonomic interior of the new Irisbus
Daily cab is a dream come true for drivers. There is a new driver's
seat which is more enveloping and comfortable. The gear stick is
integrated into the dash panel, creating more space and easing
movement within the cab. Among the other equipment aimed at
improving life behind the wheel, the driver will particularly
appreciate the new AGile automatic gearbox which dispenses with
the need to declutch on every gear change.  
The new Irisbus Daily wins in performance terms with more torque
and a Euro 4 engine, available in 116, 146 or 176HP. The braking
equipment has also been improved with the introduction of
ventilated discs on the front and larger diameter discs all round. This
allows for a shorter braking distance than that of many touring
vehicles. The new Irisbus Daily also comes with cutting edge active
safety features such as ABS antilock brakes, ASR antiskid and optional
ESP electronic stabilisation protection. In terms of passive safety, the
new Irisbus Daily offers a driver's airbag and, depending on the
version, one for the front seat passengers too.
With the choice of wheelbase lengths, different vehicle heights and a
range of door options, the new Irisbus Daily is perfect for all type of
transport missions, for example, shuttle buses, tourism excursions,
charter usage, school transport. The new Irisbus Daily - welcome
